Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family plan coming to six more countries

Six more countries will soon have access to the Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family plan

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Friends & Family plan is now expanding to six new countries, making it easier for gamers in these regions to share the benefits of the Game Pass Ultimate plan with up to five friends and family members. The six new countries joining the program are Chile, Hungary, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sweden.

According to Microsoft, this program has already been tested in Colombia and Ireland with great success. Following the pilot launch in 2022, the company has decided to expand the program to these new countries.

With this program, Xbox Game Pass members in these countries can share the benefits of their subscription with up to five friends and family members, allowing them to play a wide selection of games on both console and PC, as well as access to cloud gaming services. This includes exclusive games, day-one releases, and games from first-party studios like Bethesda, Obsidian, and Xbox Game Studios.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Friends & Family plan costs around €21.99 a month. However, Microsoft has not yet released pricing information for the six new countries joining the program.

Those who are eligible to join can sign up for the program via the Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family sign-up page. This program will provide members with all the usual benefits of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, including cloud streaming and a rotating selection of games.
