Nintendo Switch Online subscribers are in for a treat as the company recently announced the addition of Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games to its platform. Not only that, players will now be able to enjoy multiplayer games wirelessly without the need for a Link Cable.
All Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games will be available, but the GBA titles will only be accessible to subscribers who opt for the more expensive Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack plan, which costs $49.99 per year as opposed to the standard $19.99 per year for Nintendo Switch Online.
Excitingly, Nintendo is hinting at the eventual inclusion of some of the most highly rated Game Boy Advance games, such as Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Metroid Fusion, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, Fire Emblem, and Golden Sun.
In addition, confirmed future Game Boy Color titles for the service include Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.
